Design Mechanical Components and Assemblies

Determine component-level mechanical requirements from functional product specifications.

Perform tolerance analysis to assess system impacts of assembly fits and backlash.

Manage suppliers to ensure project execution aligns with design specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience shipping consumer-grade products at high volumes, preferably in injection molding.
• Deep knowledge of material science and high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, preferably CATIA.
• Proficiency in drafting engineering drawings and conducting tolerance stack-up analysis (GD&T required).
• Experience with stretchable materials and fabrics is preferred.
