About the role
This position is hourly and eligible for over time and double time. It requires proficiency with AB PLCs, understanding of industrial networking, pneumatics design, and experience with FANUC robots (CR-COBOT, CRX and DCS).
Responsibilities
- Program Robot & PLC controls with minimal assistance.
- Program and troubleshoot robot systems by working with the assembly and engineering teams.
- Instruct Field Service Engineers (FSE) in the operation and startup of our machinery and robotic and control systems.
- Instruct Field Service Engineers (FSE) in the operation and startup of Robots.
- Ensure effective communication with customers, project managers, and team members.
- Provide support for new and existing equipment.
- Lead machine start-ups and coordination of installation services.
- Train other Robotics Engineers and Controls Engineers.
Requirements
- BSE with emphasis on controls or robotic systems or demonstrable knowledge of Robotic and Control System concepts used in our industry.
- 3+ years’ experience preferred.
- PLC experience: Proficiency with AB required.
- Understanding of industrial networking.
- Understanding of pneumatics design.
- Robot Experience: FANUC required (CR-COBOT, CRX and DCS); Kuka, Motoman and ABB are a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
