Robotics Engineer (Arequipa)

Join a distributed engineering team building and validating real-world robotic systems while supporting AI/ML training workflows that improve perception, autonomy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robotics software components for perception, localization, planning, and controls
• Build simulation-to-real validation workflows (scenario generation, regression testing, performance tracking)
• Integrate sensors (camera, LiDAR, IMU, wheel odometry) and implement sensor fusion + SLAM pipelines
• Create evaluation protocols and QA evaluation checklists for autonomy behaviors and safety constraints
• Partner with AI teams on training data quality requirements, annotation guidelines compliance, and data labeling strategy
• Contribute to prompt evaluation / LLM evaluation where robot logs or HRI data require structured review
• Document architecture, test results, and release criteria; participate in incident triage as needed

Requirements

• Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics or autonomy features
• Strong Python and C++ skills; hands-on ROS2 experience and modern CI/CD practices
• Experience with computer vision datasets, curation, and evaluation metrics
• Familiarity with autonomy safety practices (scenario-based testing, failure mode analysis)
