About the role
Develops and optimizes PLC and HMI programs for HPDC processes. Programs, maintains and troubleshoots industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.). Works with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots automation issues and implement improvements
- Ensures compliance with industrial automation safety standards
- Provides training to maintenance teams on automation best practices
- Optimizes robotic movement and process efficiency
- Conducts root cause analysis for robotic failures and implement corrective actions
- Supports installation and commissioning of new robotic cells
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering
- Strong expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and industrial networks. Siemens preferred
- Experience in die casting or automotive manufacturing preferred
