Robotics and Autonomy Solutions Engineer

About the role

Velociti, LLC is seeking a Robotics and Autonomy Solutions Engineer to design, integrate, and deploy robotics and autonomous systems across customer environments. This role involves hands-on engineering from concept to deployment, collaborating with Sales, Solutions Principals, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer robotics and autonomous system solutions for industrial and fleet environments
• Evaluate robotics hardware, sensors, and control systems for customer applications
• Serve as a technical expert during customer engagements, demonstrations, and solution reviews
• Translate customer requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Provide post-deployment technical support and optimization recommendations
• Stay current on robotics, autonomy, AI-driven automation, and industrial control trends
• Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience designing or supporting robotics or autonomous systems
• Strong understanding of sensors, controls, robotics software, and automation platforms
• Experience supporting pilots and real-world deployments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Willingness to travel around 30% for customer and deployment support
