Robotic Engineering Technician
Responsibilities
- Repair and test robotic parts and systems
- Troubleshoot and report issues
- Maintain and document information
- Maintenance of robots used for checklists, service requests, and instructions
- Inspection and receipt of incoming goods
- Update and maintain a range of records and documentation on warranties
- Exhibit a proactive, active, and curious approach to tasks
- Take responsibility for, and deliver optimal solutions for internal and external customers
- Minimize downtime for our customers through fast and accurate service
Skills and Specifications
- Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training
- Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Office
- Mathematical calculations
- Able to read and understand schematic diagrams
- Able to operate a variety of simple and complex tools
Education and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience working in a robot repair room
- Vocational robotic or electrical engineering certification a plus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but could include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
