Robot Welder 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Report to work on time as scheduled every day.
• Demonstrate proficient communication skills.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure parts meet standards and specifications.
• Examine welds and unload parts to verify product quality.
• Use computer to enter part information and inventory in ERP system.
• Load, set up, and operate robotic welding equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, repair, and setup to keep robotic welder running smoothly and reduce downtime.
• Examine welds during the welding process; observe and adjust speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of wire or rod as needed.
• Execute scheduling board tasks.
• Use motorized walking stacker.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to operate cranes and overhead hoists.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient in basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to pass an eye exam.

Work Environment

The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop. Indoor, noisy, and hot in summer months.
