About the role

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking a Robotic Technician to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio, offering competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Setup shakers & shaker trays
  • Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation
  • Complete visual inspection of parts and measure/test completed metal workpieces
  • Read production schedules and determine next job in rotation
  • Correct problems by adjusting controls or stopping machines
  • Start, monitor, and adjust robotic production lines
  • Modify computer-controlled robot movements
  • Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments to equipment
  • Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems
  • Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Assume additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of progressive robotic experience (programming, adjustments, etc.)
  • Skilled in one of the following with knowledge of the others:
    • Welding
    • Electrical
    • Pneumatic
    • Robotics
  • 2 years of experience operating hand and power tools

General Skills/Experience

  • Aptitude in spatial reasoning, attention to detail, and skilled craftsmanship
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience (work with machines and general tooling)
  • Skilled in hand and power tool usage
  • Ability to follow proper safety procedures
  • Proactive and takes ownership to resolve problems and issues
  • Ability to work with employees from many different cultures and backgrounds

Software/Computer Skills & Experience

  • General knowledge of basic accessing information on the computer or entering data in a computer system
  • Experience working with FANUC robots
  • General knowledge of PLCs
