Responsibilities

  • Read and understand job tickets.
  • Complete OJT training with robotics and continue to follow procedures.
  • Set up and operate all auxiliary equipment with the focus being robotics and all post press delivery systems.
  • Troubleshoot computer and mechanical issues with reacting quickly in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Absorb and assist with folder and help with make ready and startup.
  • Maintain quality control of signatures off press (checking for hickeys, toning, crossovers, proper lap positions, etc.).
  • Communicate with next shift about status of job(s) and any special instructions.
  • Handle hazardous waste in a safe manner by following safety procedures.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to maintain optimal equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Nahan Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Follow all Nahan safety & quality policy and procedures.
  • Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Taking direction from team.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post Secondary Education with Robotics preferred.
  • Previous related experience preferred.

Base pay is based on job-related skills, experience, credentials, role scope, and location. Candidates outside the posted range are encouraged to apply, as qualifications and market factors may influence consideration.

Schedule

Shift: 12HR Days - 7AM - 7PM
