Robot Field Technician

Located in Germantown, Tennessee. This is a field‑based contract position, paid per work order.

Responsibilities

• Install robots and check that they work correctly.
• Find and fix mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Explain the problem and the repair to the customer.
• Record each visit with photos, job notes, and customer sign‑off.
• Keep your tools and spare parts ready.
• Follow site and equipment safety procedures.

Requirements

• Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment; field service, appliance repair, low‑voltage work, and facilities maintenance backgrounds are useful.
• Reliability, clear communication, and accurate job records.
• Willingness to ask for help and report mistakes.
• Availability to drive to customer sites, work in different weather conditions, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Previous robotics experience is not required.
• Training: you will complete an online course through Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in‑person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. The Academy is certificate training that we subsidize; your first job is paid with remote specialist support.

Pay

$25 to $55 per hour.
