Robot Barn Attendant

This position focuses on daily cleaning duties in the robot barn (RB), with a primary emphasis on manure management. STgenetics® is the worldwide leader in Sexed Semen and Embryo production, recognized globally for assisting in locating and exporting quality semen, embryos, and livestock from the United States.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts and communicate with all team members in a professional manner.
• Clean the commit areas of the RB.
• Assist the Vacuum Truck with passing through the barn twice a day.
• Set up foot baths daily.
• Clean around and under the robots.
• Fetch cattle as needed.
• Learn basics with robots (e.g., simple resetting and putting back into play).
• Help the Eco and Feed team clean out feeding nodes once a week.

Requirements

• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Committed interest in the dairy industry.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Must be able to consistently lift 50+ pounds.
• Must be comfortable around large animals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to learn and thrive on new programs.
