Robert Leblanc

Robert LeBlanc's work is marked by uncommon intensity and immediacy, the product of a career spent documenting raw corners from a position of extreme closeness. His projects are often the result of years of trust-building, and he has built a practice of finding and gaining intimate access to an undiscovered and revelatory slice of life.

Bio

His book Unlawful Conduct was in leading art bookstores, including MoMA PS1 and the Frye Art Museum. His latest book, A New America, is a panoramic exploration of daily life and the wild fringes of a country in uncommon times, seen with an uncommon lens.

His latest book, A New America, is a panoramic exploration of daily life and the wild fringes of a country in uncommon times. The images and videos in these NFTs are from the six-year book project. Each collector of these NFTs will also receive a special limited edition signed copy of A New America that will only be printed in an edition of 10.

• Clearly Concealed | View on Foundation

  Clearly Concealed is a series of portraits taken from behind each individual. Even though each person's identity is kept hidden, it's easy to identify their personalities through their choices of clothing, jewelry, headwear, and tattoos. Clearly Concealed thrives on our imaginations and inspires viewers to develop their own narratives of our unidentifiable individuals. The series will be an ongoing project created throughout 2022, consisting of 100 portraits in total.
