Roadway Engineer, EIT

About the Role

RDA is seeking an early-career transportation engineer to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work on both local and high-profile projects that will reshape communities, with hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities

• Tackle challenging design tasks for VDOT, local municipalities, and private clients
• Gain hands-on experience and develop your skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals
• Contribute to impactful projects that improve transportation infrastructure and enhance safety

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of experience in transportation engineering design
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong written and oral communication skills
• A keen ability to apply standard engineering methods while thinking critically about design challenges

Qualifications

• Registration as an E.I.T. is a plus, but not required

Pay

$80,000 - $110,000 / year
