Roadway EIT

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collections and analyzes data for inclusion in project plans and reports
• Aids and prepares project plans using OpenRoads Designer
• Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide range of projects
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of project specifications
• Reviews project quantity estimates, details, and checks calculations and drawings for compliance with project requirements
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of project schedules
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need To Have

• BS in Civil Engineering
• EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required
• 2 - 4 years of experience
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer is preferred

About the Role

Volkert is seeking an experienced Roadway EIT to support its Gulf Region operations in Brentwood/Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga, TN. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tennessee if they are out of state.
