Roadway Design Internship

Our dynamic and successful Civil Design Group is seeking a roadway design intern to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN office. This group is responsible for the design of civil engineering projects for highway and local roads, public utilities, and related infrastructure projects. The position offers up to 40 hours per week during the summer and part-time hours during the school year. This role has the potential for full-time employment upon graduation from an accredited Civil Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Assist design teams with the development of layouts, plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
• Prepare project cost estimates.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a university’s civil engineering undergraduate program.
• Collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possessing strong communication skills as well as an ability to self-start.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley 3D design tools preferred.

Pay

$25.00 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
