Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with clients and set market direction.
- Influence projects that transform communities, working closely with MDOT and local municipalities.
- Develop targeted client service action plans for MDOT, counties, and cities.
- Coordinate staff workload with other transportation departments within Michael Baker International.
- Oversee project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule excellence.
- Lead and participate in developing pursuits and strategic positioning for major transportation project opportunities, including alternative delivery projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 10+ Years of experience in transportation design.
- 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Michigan.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proposal writing, public speaking ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven success in project delivery and leading winning proposals.

Pay
The approximate compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $190,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
