About the role
The role of the Roadside Technician position in our company can be broken down into one sentence: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.”
Responsibilities
- Respond to tire-related failures by repairing or changing tires.
- Help mount orders, clean, and organize the shop.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Pay
The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
Schedule
Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During a Technician's on-call period, they are expected to run after-hours service calls at a 95% Accept rate, which includes weekends and nights. After-hours service calls are paid in double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call!!
