Roadside Technician Commercial Tires (Paid Training/Night Shift) - Portland, OR
About the role
The role of the Roadside Technician position in our company can be broken down into one sentence: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.”
Responsibilities
- Dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires when a customer has a tire-related failure.
- Help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed during non-service call periods.
- Respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including using proper PPE, following tire cage usage, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- At Least 21 Years of Age.
- Legal Authorization to Work in the U.S.
Skills
Skills You Will Learn:
- Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including using proper PPE, following tire cage usage, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Pay
Starting Pay: $25 (training provided) - $30 (experienced)
Hourly + OT Available
Double Pay for After Hours Service Calls & Weekly Pay Average Weekly Pay Post Training: $1100 -1600!!!
Schedule
Shift Information: This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance. All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
