Roadside Technician Commercial Tires - Miami FL

About the role

An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.

Responsibilities

• Dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires when a customer has a tire-related failure.
• Help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed during non-service call periods.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all safety policies and procedures.

Pay and Schedule

• The pay range for this position is $22 - $32.70/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
• This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance. All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
