About the role
The role of the Roadside Technician position in our company can be broken down into one sentence: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.”
Responsibilities
- Dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires when a customer has a tire-related failure.
- Help mount orders, clean, and organize the shop during non-service call periods.
- Other general duties as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred.
Skills
- Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
- Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
- Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including wearing proper PPE, using tire cages, and following all other safety policies and procedures.

Pay
The starting pay for this position is $21/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
Schedule
This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance. All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
