About the role

An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.

The role involves responding to tire-related failures, repairing or changing tires, helping mount orders, cleaning and organizing the shop, and other general duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to tire-related failures
• Repair or change tires
• Mount orders
• Clean and organize the shop
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Previous commercial service tire experience is preferred

Skills

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

Schedule

This position includes participation in a mandatory on-call rotation. During an assigned on-call period, Technicians are expected to respond to after-hours service requests—including evenings and weekends—with a high rate of acceptance. All after-hours service calls are compensated at a premium pay rate with guaranteed minimums.
