Pay

$19 to $22 per hour based on experience, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service at customer locations, on the road, or in the shop.
• Raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks, use air tools and heavy hand-held tools.
• Mount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair commercial truck tires.
• Participate in after-hours road service call rotation.
• Repair or replace tires on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks on the roadside, customer yards, or in the shop.
• Identify repairable tires and perform repairs properly.
• Communicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders, and/or invoices.
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently using provided safety equipment (seat belts, gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, safety glasses, cages).
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Operate a commercial service truck.
• Perform daily maintenance on vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Complete other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Must possess or be willing to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Must be or be willing to get TIA certified (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
