Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective perioperative care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification within the first year of employment
Preferred certifications include CNOR and RN-First Assistant.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform tasks requiring gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
