About the role
As a Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA), you will provide restorative nursing services that will assist the resident in restoring, improving, or maintaining bodily functions to the highest degree practicable. You will work in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, under the direction of supervisors, to ensure the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Provide restorative nursing services to assist residents in restoring, improving, or maintaining bodily functions.
- Work in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.
- Demonstrate thorough proficiency in the use of Adaptive Equipment (e.g., walkers, canes, slide boards, communication boards, adaptive eating utensils, trapeze, reachers, lift equipment).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of certified Restorative Aide training course.
- Complete and unencumbered Nursing Assistant certification in the state.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment (preferred).
- Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents (preferred).
- Behavioral care / memory care experience (preferred).
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) (preferred).
