RN Wound Care and Ostomy - PRN

Role Overview

Responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating wound and ostomy care for a select group of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and treat various wounds such as surgical openings, ulcers, decubitus ulcers, feeding tube sites, and abscesses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor for infections and assess symptoms of complex wounds.
• Ensure safe healing.
• Educate healthcare team members on proper wound care practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing school.
• Current RN license.
• WCC/WOCN certification.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced wound assessment and management skills.
• Ability to create treatment strategies.
• Strong educational abilities for team support.

Key Duties
