RN - Workplace Violence Prevention

Summary of Job Duties

The Behavioral Emergency Response Team RN will ensure delivery of the highest quality of care for patients, family members, and visitors with disruptive behaviors within UAMS main campus through the management and oversight of the Behavioral Emergency Response team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
• Valid RN licensure in the state of Arkansas
• 1 year Registered Nursing experience
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to manage conflict in a variety of situations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Advanced communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Medical Record System
  • Experience in Clinical Documentation
  • Experience in Behavioral De-escalation
  • Experience in Teaching
  • Experience in Med-Surg, Critical Care or Mental Health background with inpatient psychiatric populations
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years Registered Nursing experience
  • Current experience in acute care population or psychiatric population in an academic medical center
  • Knowledge in Epic Medical Record System
  • Experience with Microsoft, PowerPoint, Forms, Box
