About the role
The Triage RN provides professional nursing care within a virtual triage program, supporting physicians and managing patient care according to policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with patient treatment, completing clinical documentation, and handling after-hours emergency calls. Once trained, the role offers flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments
- Coordinate care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Support the vAcute program, which may focus on OBGYN or Pediatrics
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Current RN licensure in Missouri
- CPR certification or obtain within 90 days
