RN Weekend Supervisor (Every Other Weekend)

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN Weekend Supervisor utilizes a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring the needs of residents are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the orientation and supervision of Nursing personnel.
• Oversee daily operations of the unit on a per-shift, unit level.
• Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
• Provide care in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License issued in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
