RN - Weekend Pediatrics - Days and Overnights

Our BAYADA Delaware Pediatric North Office is interested in a Registered Nurse (RN) who has a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. We believe our clients and their families deserve the highest quality of care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

About the role

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits:

• Traditional shifts (8’s, 10’s or 12’s)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Building client relationships and watching their milestones
• Client age ranges from infant to young adult

What your day looks like with BAYADA:

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly documents doctors’ orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Feel empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric clients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a private home setting

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Onboarding and Training

We pride ourselves on providing an excellent onboarding and training experience from Day 1.

• Paid first day includes meeting the team, discussing availability and possible schedules, meeting with the clinical educator, and scheduling any needed training. Lunch and BAYADA swag provided.
• Paid Orientation includes training with the clinical educator in the SIM lab, documentation training, fit testing, and ID badge completion. Refreshments provided.
• First day in the client home includes orientation with another BAYADA nurse to ensure comfort and fit.
• Several nurse appreciation events throughout the year.

Pay

Up to $43/hour based on client care and shift.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with traditional shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours).
