RN - Vascular Surgery Clinic

About the role

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work collaboratively as an active member of an interprofessional team in a dynamic clinic setting that supports a rotation of vascular surgeons and advanced practice providers (APPs) in the care of a full range of vascular diagnoses and acuities.

Primarily perform advanced phone triage, MyChart messaging management/triage and provide day to day support for vascular surgeons and APPs. Work may also include utilizing nursing skills such as some wound care, some in-office procedures, patient education, and supporting the sub-specialties of Vein Clinic as needed. 80% of the clinic responsibilities include computer work. This position is onsite.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, day shift. No weekends, no holidays. You will work onsite primarily at Eastpark Medical Center with travel required to the other vascular surgery locations for cross coverage. All clinics are located in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

Graduate of school of nursing Required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred. 6 months of RN experience Required. Relevant RN experience Preferred.

Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required. CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required. Applicable clinical certification Preferred.
