CareCore at Heritage is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about resident care, mentoring staff, and thriving in a fast-paced long-term care environment.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekend on-call rotation required
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit
- Oversee scheduling for Nurse and STNA staff
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive resident outcomes
- Monitor documentation, quality measures, and clinical performance
- Assist with surveys, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license required
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- PointClickCare (PCC) experience required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining a resident-centered approach
