RN Triage Nurse - Outpatient Clinic

Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Outpatient Headache Clinic Location: Chicago, IL Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities Provide patient care through inbound and outbound telephone triage, assessing caller needs with active listening, clinical assessments, education, and problem-solving skills.Manage patients' immediate and ongoing needs, including acute and preventative interventions.Perform phone triage, patient education, Continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and maintain exam rooms. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification.Office RN and BSN preferred.Self-motivated with the ability to handle high-stress situations.Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 40 lbs.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
