RN Trauma Gen Surg Unit FT Nights
Full-time, 12-hour night shift position on a 32-bed step-down Trauma General Surgery Unit in Boise. Self-schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week (7pm – 7am) with rotating weekends. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
About the Role
We are introducing Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™—a transformational team care model that pairs locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) with bedside RNs and care partners to enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and provide new support opportunities for nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team, performing ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
- Promote physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while utilizing resources wisely.
- Provide hands-on nursing care and serve in capacities such as delegation, care planning, and patient/family education.
Requirements
- Current RN license (multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross at time of hire (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).
