Job Summary

The Throughput RN plays a pivotal role in shaping first impressions and delivering a brand-defining experience for patients, their families, and healthcare partners. This high-performance position requires professionals who excel in communication, coordination, and clinical judgment to seamlessly facilitate patient admissions and transfers.

Position Details

• A remote RN opportunity
• Non-patient contact role
• Must reside within 1 hour of a Mercy Hospital
• 3-12 hour shifts
• 6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m. shifts

Position Overview

The East Region Throughput Center RN serves as a clinical expert and point of contact for:

• Providers and facilities initiating patient transfers or admissions to Mercy hospitals
• Assigning patients to appropriate units based on facility-specific criteria
• Staffing coordination and logistics

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• RN License – Current RN license in the state of Missouri required
• Experience – Minimum 3 years in Telemetry or higher acuity nursing
• Certifications – BLS required
