About the role

The registered nurse in the Telemetry department during night shifts is responsible for providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training.

They must demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of department policies and workflows to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic nursing knowledge to meet care standards and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
• CPR certification required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be needed based on unit requirements.
• Specialty units provide specific education as needed.
• The position offers 72 hours bi-weekly and emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Must be a new graduate or a registered nurse in good standing, licensed in Arkansas;
• BSN preferred.
