About the Role
A registered nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided to deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking, know and understand departmental policies and organizational requirements, and integrate these into a unified workflow with the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking in alignment with department policies and organizational standards.
- Collaborate as a full partner of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Adhere to standard of care while delivering patient-centered care.
Requirements
- New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse in good standing, licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas.
- BSN preferred.
- Healthcare CPR certification required; some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS (training provided).
- Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.
- Not actively participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
Schedule
- Shift: Night
- Working Hours: 18:30 – 07:00
- Hours: 72 hours bi-weekly (full-time).
