About the Role

Join our team as a variable shift, PRN (as-needed) weekday/weekend, on-call Registered Nurse at INTEGRIS Health Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid, OK. This position assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. You may be required to float to other units or participate in on-call status. Population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals are required. Mental Health staff must assist with physical restraint of patients using the identified Behavior Management Technique System. Additional physical demands or respiratory fit test requirements may apply.

Potential for exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and re-assessment of patients
• Development and implementation of the plan of care
• Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Supervision and coordination of licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care
• Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students
• Documentation of patient care
• Adherence to National Patient Safety Goals

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association in lieu of BLS
• Other certifications and competencies as required by the service line
• Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver’s license in the state where employed, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive an automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
• INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier (for operating INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicles)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospice Only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse)
