RN Supervisor Weekends $2500 Sign On Bonus

As the RN Supervisor for weekends, you will supervise charge nurses and other caregivers, ensure clinical systems and programs function as intended, and oversee resident care. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing quality, compassionate healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Observe patients, chart, and report changes in patient conditions.
• Answer patient calls and determine how to assist them.
• Provide basic patient care or treatments.
• Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinates.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate disciplinary or training actions.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
