RN Supervisor – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Qualifications
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) - Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) within 2yrs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
Responsibilities
- Manages personnel in assigned area, including interviewing, scheduling, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintains a consistent presence on the unit through rounding and active engagement with staff, patients, and families.
- Supports onboarding, orientation, and competency validation.
- Collaborates with nursing, therapy, physicians, and case management to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
- Participates in/completes audits, surveys, and continuous improvement activities.
About the role
Provides visible, hands-on leadership and operational oversight for the inpatient rehabilitation unit. Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and maintains a consistent presence on the unit, working alongside nursing, therapy, physicians, and case management staff to support patient care, problem-solve in real time, and drive clinical excellence.
Balances front line engagement with leadership accountability, supporting day-to-day operations while maintaining responsibility for staff development, quality outcomes, patient experience, and regulatory compliance.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $47.53 per hour - $81.75 per hour.
