RN Supervisor - Home Health

About the Role

The RN Supervisor Home Health oversees a caseload of 100-175 patients, providing direct supervision to clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, MSWs, and HHAs. They ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate patient care, and monitor team performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote adherence to policies, standards, and regulations through ongoing staff evaluations and mentorship.
• Coordinate and document patient care across disciplines, managing complex cases with consultation and home visits.
• Ensure staffing coverage for all shifts and participate in on-call duties.
• Supervise clinical field activities, monitor productivity, attendance, and costs to ensure standards are met.
• Oversee care plans, documentation, and regulatory compliance, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, policy development, and staff education programs.
• Maintain positive internal and external customer interactions and ensure staff compliance with HR requirements.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Nevada.
• Graduate of an approved nursing school.
• At least 2 years of home health patient care experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Basic PC skills.
• Valid Nevada driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• OASIS knowledge.
