RN Supervisor Emergency Department Nights

About the role

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Lake Pointe is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The department is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The role offers a SIGN ON BONUS of $15,000 for external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Charge RN.
• At least 5 years of experience as an ED RN.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
