About the role
Joining AdventHealth is about extending the healing ministry of Christ. As a Clinical Contact Center member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, evaluating clinical performance, and managing compliance programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintains up-to-date records of staff certifications and professional credentials.
- Develops and implements training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Analyzes data and trends to inform decision-making and improve clinical performance.
- Facilitates team meetings and training sessions to foster communication and collaboration.
- Collaborates with leadership to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinates with various departments to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Evaluates clinical performance of staff, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Manages compliance programs to ensure all activities meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Conducts regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitors practice and organizational policies to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
- Provides ongoing education and support to staff to promote best practices and professional development.
- Communicates complex information to all levels of staff.
- Articulates patient information clearly and concisely.
- Assigns ratings or triages needs based on patient conditions.
- Passes information on to other members of the care team.
Requirements
- Experienced in application of Microsoft Office Suite with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent creative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to develop and mentor others to their optimum levels of skill and professionalism.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nursing care standards.
- Analytical skills to assess patient condition.
- Effective oral communication skills to interview patients and explain next steps as well as to pass information on to other members of the care team.
- Decision-making skills to quickly assign a rating or triage need.
- Strong written communication skills to record patient information clearly and concisely.
- Thorough understanding of infection control and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Field Of Study N/A
- 3+ years experience in clinical nurse telephone triage [Preferred]
- 1+ years leadership experience [Preferred]
- 2+ years experience in outpatient practices [Required]
