About the role
At Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment where teamwork and respect are central. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care plans, assess and evaluate patient needs, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care within your assigned department or unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under the guidance of the clinical manager or designee.
- Adhere to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Follow established patient care standards for the Legacy Health System, including patient assessment and transfer protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN strongly preferred; RNs without a BSN may be considered based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Experience: At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent). Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Qualifications
- American Heart Association BLS required.
- American Heart Association NRP required; may be hired with AHA/AAP Essential NRP, but must obtain Advanced NRP within 6 weeks or completion of orientation, whichever is longer.
- If recovering OB or Surgical patients, American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- STABLE within 6 months of hire.
- Advance Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of labor training.
- Ability to Scrub or scrub training within 6 months of hire (specific for Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital).
- Current applicable state RN license required.

Pay
USD $54.37 – USD $81.21 per hour
