RN-Staff Nurse Primary Care

About the role

Southcoast Health is searching for a talented RN-Staff Nurse to join our Primary Care team in Swansea, MA. This is a 24-hour day shift position with rotating start times of 8:00am, 8:30am, and 8:45am. Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice
• Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care for patients
• Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served
• Position reports to the Director, Manager or designee

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required
• ACLS may be required based on practice/department specialty
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Skills & experience

• One to three years of related experience preferred
• Previous Medical Office experience is desirable
• Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable
• 3-5 years of specific experience may be required based on practice/department specialty

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay range: $33.94 - $55.77 per hour.

Schedule

24 hours per week, day shift with rotating start times of 8:00am, 8:30am, and 8:45am.
