About the role
A registered nurse provides and coordinates total nursing care for patients maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Nursing Care Division and Medical Center policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient care standards and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates care with other members of the health care team.
- Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans.
- Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
- Monitors patient progress and reports significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Licensure by the Alabama State Board of Nursing.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing program.
