About the Role

Join our team as a night shift, full-time Registered Nurse (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital in Edmond, OK. INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated caregiver to partner with people to live healthier lives.

This position assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. You may be required to float to other units or participate in on-call status. Population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and re-assessment of patients
  • Development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care
  • Supervision and coordination of licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care
  • Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
  • Documentation of patient care
  • Adherence to standard precautions and safety protocols
  • Potential for exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals
  • Mental Health staff: Ability to assist with physical restraint of patients using the identified Behavior Management Technique System

This position may have additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire (Hospice only: CPR in lieu of BLS)
  • Other certifications and competencies as required by the service line
  • Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
  • INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier (for operating INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicles)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospice only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse)
