About the Role

We are searching for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Med Surg/Tele unit at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This position offers a 36-hour workweek with a Day/Evening shift rotation, including weekends and holidays. Shifts are 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent (required).
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Three (3) months of experience (preferred).
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or sign an exemption statement for medical or personal reasons.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 per hour.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.
• Day/Evening shift rotation (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.
