As a School-Based Oversight Nurse at PSI, you support clinic staff across schools, helping ensure health services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with school health guidelines. Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and support for school clinic staff
- Ensure clinic operations follow safe and effective nursing practices
- Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment for staff
- Assist with workflow, protocols, and clinical guidance
- Maintain communication with school leadership and PSI support teams
- Supervise and support assigned clinic staff
- Ensure staff are completing responsibilities safely and efficiently
- Provide guidance on clinic procedures and nursing protocols
- Assist with documentation standards and health record management
- Promote positive working relationships with clinic teams and school staff
- Support compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and school health regulations
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License (Required)
- Knowledge of school health protocols, communicable disease prevention, and medication administration
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and student health confidentiality standards
- School-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred
