About the role
This position supports and manages the robotic surgery program within the operating room, acting as the point person and educator for robotic procedures. Responsibilities include managing the surgical schedule, maintaining inventory and equipment, updating protocols, and reporting quality data to the Robotics Steering Committee.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact and educator for robotic surgical procedures
- Manage the surgical schedule for robotic cases
- Maintain inventory and ensure equipment readiness
- Update and enforce robotic surgery protocols
- Report quality data to the Robotics Steering Committee
- Provide direct patient care across all age groups
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams
- Participate in performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Current RN license in Nevada
- 3+ years of acute care operating room experience (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Clinical expertise in robotic surgical processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
