RN Relief - SRT

About the role

The Short Term Residential (SRT) facility at Lakeview Center is a 20-bed inpatient setting designed for adults with serious mental illnesses. The primary duty involves delivering high-quality, client-centered therapeutic services under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct care services, including crisis intervention and behavior management
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and services provided
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards
• Serve as a mentor and consultant to other direct care employees
• Manage client risk and safety, implementing strategies to promote stability and recovery

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Florida RN license
• CPR certification
• Training in effective client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI)
• Ability to deliver integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services
• Pass organization screening requirements, including background checks

Pay

Compensation ranges from $27.40 to $33.55 per hour, depending on experience. Shift differentials may apply.

Hours vary based on department needs.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a valid RN license in Florida. CPR certification is required, along with training in CPI. Applicants must be able to manage client risk and safety, and pass organization screening requirements.

Advanced knowledge of nursing practices, ability to work independently, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in managing client behavior and safety.
